Here are some things about George

INTRO
George is currently retired, a widower and living in a retirement home called the Brook.  It is located in Roscommon, MI.
He has written four books. The first one is a text book that he wrote with the intention of teaching  a class on salesmanship and the art of being  a professional salesman. The other three books are novels.
He continued his education under the "GI Bill" after serving in the United States Marine Corps in World War II.  He graduated  from The University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Economics. After graduation he studied at Wayne State University, again at the University of Detroit and the University of Michigan.

 WORK
The sales business was his work for over 45 years.  Many years later after retiring from daily work, He studied 8 computer courses at Kirtland Community College with a grade point average of 3.9.  This made him eligible for the national Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa and he became a member of this distinguished society.
NOW
George is currently busy writing novels and is the Commander of the Roscommon American Legion Post 96 Roscommon, MI.  Previously George was the Chaplain for Post 96 and he Chaplain for the Michigan 10th district.

EARLY DAYS
George  was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, a city that is lost. It was a good city when he was a child.
It began to deteriorate after World War II.  The suburbs started and the automobile factories relocated their production facilities in various parts of this country and now the world. Slowly the city fell apart.  Many people hope for the recovery of the city but this is far fetched.  Detroit was once a vibrant, safe city of over 4 million paople, now it is a city of approximately 700,000 people and has negative reputation in many catagories.
George has  lived in many of the suburbs of Detroit.  He was involved or I should say he was a professional salesman during his entire working career after graduating from college.  He has always maintained that nothing happens until something is sold.  This became the title of his first book.  It was intended to be a text book for a potential sales course he was about to teach at Kirtland Community College in Roscommon County.
SALES EXPERIENCE - CREATING JOBS
George has sold a variety of items, household appliances, automobiles, investments/insurance, paper products, candy, pet foods, commercial/industrial/domestic lighting.  His last selling job was selling parts and supplies for domestic, commercial and industrial appliances ( such as washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, furnaces, air conditioners, etc.) to wholesale dealers.
In 1971, he formed his own sales company called Somerset Marketing Company.  He represented many companies and sold to the appliance parts and supply trade.   George has created many jobs  becaus of the axiom, nothing happens until something is sold.  When something is sold then someone has to manufacture this product, hence a job is created.  Selling does create jobs.
Some things are purposely omitted about George for personal and national security reasons.
